Description:
| The CIS Florence Program is located at the Instituto Europeo whose central location lends itself to your being able to truly experience, on a daily basis, all that this remarkable city has to offer. During your semester in Florence you will not only take classes, but will also take part in organized excursions to other Italian cities, pay visits to historic sites, and take trips to the theater for concerts and opera. Your semester in Italy is meant to not give you just the “classroom” version, but we want you to be able to see the sites where history and art were made. All courses offered in the Florence program are taught by highly qualified, international faculty. Because you will be living and taking classes right in the city, there will be many other things to do outside of the classroom. The Florence Program organizes wine tastings, optional excursions and sporting events to keep you occupied, and, on your own, you will certainly want to take in the many other sites that this city has to offer – this alone could take someone an entire semester! Of course, you can’t forget that you are in Europe, and that means that a weekend in France or Switzerland is not out of the question. | |
