Description:
| The curriculum consists of intensive language courses, on-the-road projects, field-based activities, sightseeing and cultural excursions in Spain and Portugal. Professors and staff from 'Moreruela: Escuela de Espanol' teach courses and supervise the group. Moreruela: Escuela de Espaņol is a small, private, Spanish language academy, set in the Spanish countryside about 3 hours northwest of Madrid. The academy was established to provide students with a unique opportunity to learn the Spanish language through a combination of intense formal instruction and complete immersion into traditional Spanish life. Students earn up to 6 college credits -- a 3-credit Spanish language course (at the appropriate level), and a 3-credit Spanish Studies Seminar. Credit is granted from an accredited university in the U.S. All courses and excursions are conducted in English.
