Description:
| Founded in 1905, KU is one of the largest and oldest institutions in Korea, with an enrollment of approximately 29,000 students.
Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students participate in the Korea University Student Exchange Program (KUSEP). Over sixty courses are taught in English each year in a wide selection of departments, including, but not limited to:
Asian Studies International Relations
Basic Sciences
Korean Studies
Business Administration Law / Legal System
Communication Literature
Economics Political Science
Students proficient in the language may also enroll in any regular KU courses taught in Korean.
Participants also enroll in 3 credit hour Korean language classes for eight hours per week. Intensive Korean language courses are taught at 6 different levels ranging from beginning to advanced. Students are placed on the basis of a proficiency exam given upon arrival.
Graduate Students
Graduate students enroll in the Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS), which offers courses designed exclusively for foreigners to enhance their understanding of Korea. Participants select courses taught in English in Korean Studies, International Area Studies, and International Commerce & Cooperation. | |
