| The IES Auckland program offers students direct enrollment at the University of Auckland--one of the top institutions in the South Pacific and a member of the prestigious Universitas 21, an educational consortium. The IES Auckland program facilitates cultural exploration and discovery of the unique characteristics of New Zealand through an integrated program of formal academic teaching and informal field study.
Founded in 1883, the University of Auckland is an internationally recognized teaching and research institution with a multi-cultural perspective. It offers a wide range of courses in seven main faculties, including Architecture, Property, Planning and Fine Arts, Arts, Business and Economics, Engineering, Law, Medical and Health Sciences, and Science. In addition, there are more than 30 interdisciplinary centers. The large student body includes more than 4,800 international students from 100 different countries. | |
