Description:
| Join World Endeavors for one of the most affordable, quality semester in Thailand programs available. Our Thai Studies program in Bangkok, Thailand is designed to introduce students to the Thai language, literature, history, economics, politics and other aspects of Thai culture. The courses are designed for small groups of Thai and international students with an emphasis on current issues, an active exchange of ideas among students, and field trips. Students can choose to take courses in other areas of study as well.
Students will receive an orientation after arriving in Thailand that will acquaint them with the program and the surrounding area. At that time, students can register for the buddy program that teams each international student with a local Thai student. Students will make friends with Thai students, get to know Thai families and experience contemporary Thai lives, exchange culture and thoughts with locals, learn the Thai language, travel and have fun.
From the breathtaking beaches of the South to the exotic jungle-mountains of the North, Thailand is known for its variety of beautiful natural features. The culture is also deeply textured – a balance of ancient tradition and modern influences. The people are warm and friendly and have learned to enjoy life.
