| Berlin, a center of modern European history, has no equal for leaving its imprint on the political, social, and cultural history in the 20th century. One of Europe's most vibrant cities, Berlin boasts a wide array of museums, art galleries, theaters and cabarets.
The IES Berlin Summer Program offers you the opportunity to explore Germany's political and social history with a focus on Jewish Studies and German art and architecture of the past century, IES Berlin offers a strong field study component that introduces students to important artistic, architectural and political markers of the city.
The IES Center is within easy walking distance to Humboldt University, the Brandenburg Gate, and the German Parliament. Students enjoy full access to the IES Berlin Center's library and computer facilities. | |
