Description:
| We offer all-inclusive programs for undergraduate and graduate students at various Polish universities.
For the semester, students can study the Polish language, sociology, poly sci, international relations, and electrical and computer engineering.
For the summer, we offer a 3-week program in intensive Polish language and culture (Torun), a 4-week program called "Memory and Identity in the Context of Ethnic Relations in Central and Eastern Europe" (Warsaw), and a 10-week program in Polish language and sociology (Warsaw).
In addition to the academic program, you will have an opportunity to explore the country through our excursions. Our bilingual academic and social director will help you become immersed in the Polish language and culture through frequent extra-curricular activities such as films, concerts, meetings with Polish students and more!
We currently offer programs in Warsaw and Torun:
Warsaw - With a population of more 1.7 million people, Warsaw is an ideal location for students who like the big city life. It became the country's capital in 1596 when King Zygmunt III moved the royal residence there from Krakow. Since then Warsaw has witnessed many hardships (it was almost completely destroyed during WW II), but it has emerged as a cosmopolitan city and the business center of the country. Here you can find modern architecture juxtaposed with carefully-restored palaces and castles. The city boasts a beautiful Old Town and many theaters, museums, monuments, restaurants, and parks.
Torun – A beautiful medieval city located in northern Poland. The city is filled with quaint cobblestone streets winding around the ruins of a 13th-century castle built by the Teutonic Knights. Because of its architectural variety and beauty, Torun was added to UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites in 1997. It is also famous for being the birthplace and childhood home of the renowned astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus. | |
