| Committed to a cultural studies perspective, the program aims at improving participants’
Spanish fluency and deepening their understanding of Spain and its many cultures within a
global context. The Duke in Madrid program is especially suited for students with interests
in the humanities, political science, international and European Union economy and relations, and
