Description:
| This program, available for an academic year (July 2003-July 2004), July-November 2003 and February -July 2003 semesters, is open to college sophomores, juniors and seniors with a 2.5 minimum GPA. There is an on-site orientation in Sydney. Transcripts issued by Macquarie University. A visa is mandatory.
Students may choose an internship worth six credits, usually unpaid, with a local company. 3.0 GPA required.
Students are housed in single rooms in Dunmore Lang residential college with all meals in Dunmore Lang dining hall.
Cultural activities include a harbor dinner cruise, performance at Sydney Opera House, weekend trips and sporting events.
AIFS program fees are $10,995 per semester or $21,390 for an academic year and include tuition, housing and meals, cultural activities, services of an on-site Resident Director, field trip to Melbourne and services of a pre-departure Student Advisory Center.
Application deadlines are May 1 for academic year or July-December semester; October 15 for February-June semester. Scholarships are available. | |
