Description:
| The summer program at Laval University in Quebec has been offered through North Georgia
College and State University since 1982. Quebec City is the most European of all North
American cities and has been named a World Heritage City by UNESCO. More than 90%
of its population speaks French. Students enroll in a special summer program at Laval, the
oldest French-speaking university in North America. The program is directed by Dr. Jim Chesnut.
This is a quality academic program involving total French immersion. In addition to academics,
students can also take day social and culural day excursions.
To be eligible, students must have a 2.5 GPA overall. No previous language experience in required. | |
