Description:
| The city of Nanjing is located on the banks of the Yangzi River on the eastern coast of the People's Republic of China. Located in a beautiful setting of lakes, rivers, wooded hills, and mountians, it is one of the four traditional capitals of China. The program is held on the campus of Nanjing University of Chemical Techonlogy (NJUCT).
This program will appeal to a variety of students, including those interested in science and technology as well as business students. Students will take a total of 8 credits whil in Nanjing.
In addition to classroom study, students visit numerous cultural and historic sites in Najing and Suzhou (the "Venice of the East") including: The tomb of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, The Ming tomb area, numerous ancient Buddhist temples, a silk factory.
Visits to several other cities outside of Nanjing are included in the program. These included Suzhou, Wuxi, and Yangzhou. | |
