Description:
| IES Vienna offers one of the most extensive curricula of any study abroad program. Courses are taught in German for advanced German-speaking students and in English for non-German speaking students. Courses are presented from the perspective of the whole of Europe and focus on the creative tensions in politics, economics, and cultural and social traditions between Eastern and Western Europe. All levels of German language courses are offered. In addition, IES Vienna boasts a music program specifically designed for music performance majors and other talented instrumentalists and vocalists. The IES Vienna Center is located in the exquisite Palais Corbelli in the heart of Vienna, where students will find unmatched cultural opportunities. Founded in 1950, IES Vienna is the second-oldest study abroad program in the United States and usually enrolls 90 to 110 students each semester. | |
