Description:
| The IES EUROPEAN UNION program features a curriculum designed primarily for Economics, Political Science, International Relations, and Business Majors. Courses emphasize the historical development of the European Union, its internal policies, and its relations with outside nations. The program is located at the IES Center in Freiburg, Germany. Students explore key EU issues through course work and related field study trips to Brussels, Luxembourg, Frankfurt, Strasbourg, Paris, Geneva, and cities in Central Europe and the Baltic States that figure prominently in the enlargement of the EU. All courses are taught in English by German faculty. Founded in 1982, this single-semester program enrolls approximately 30 students each semester. | |
