All courses at the Le Centre d'Avignon are given in French. The program focuses on French studies; language, literature, history, art history, and civilization—politics, economics, philosophy, and contemporary society.
The program is designed for American and Canadian undergraduates. Courses are comparable to those offered by most colleges in the United States and credits earned are transferable. Please meet with your university adviser for credit approval. Instruction follows a standard American curriculum and academic calendar. Most courses carry three semester credits and meet three hours per week for 15 weeks.
Course selection must be made in consultation with the dean or appropriate academic adviser at your home institution.
