| EXCEL is a Spanish language institution accredited and recognized by the Ministry of Education of Peru (no other language school in Cusco has this accreditation). With over 14 years of experience, EXCEL is the premier language school in Peru. The school is located in a charming colonial Peruvian building with a relaxing inner courtyard and is only five minutes on foot from the Plaza de Armas. Within a few block radius of the school are countless restaurants, shops, tour companies, cybercafes, museums, and other important points of interest in Cusco. In other words, the school is located close to everything a visitor will want to see or will need while in Cusco.
The goal of EXCEL has always been focused on providing high quality, effective, intensive Spanish instruction customized to meet the needs of each individual and to immerse students in the culture and history of Peru. The school does this in a relaxed, informal and friendly environment. In addition the school does a fantastic job of providing a level of personalized attention not found at many other language schools.
EXCEL offers two basic study options to its students: small group classes and one-on-one tutoring. Small group classes generally contain between two and four students with approximately the same level of Spanish knowledge. Completing exercises with other students helps each student develop his or her conversational skills rapidly in a dynamic environment. Small group classes are particularly suitable and advised for beginner and intermediate students of the Spanish language. One to one study is more suitable for advanced and professional students who have more specific requirements. One to one study is also recommended for those students who have a short period of time in which to study or simply prefer something more intensive.
Besides offering excellent Spanish language programs, EXCEL also offers (and or assists in arranging) a variety of interesting cultural activities and weekend excursions allowing student the chance to really get to know Peru.
