Description:
| Unlike any other study abroad experience offered to American students in France, our program allows exploration of French language and culture through a rich and fulfilling discipline: the history of art. Based in Nice, amidst some of the world's greatest art collections, students will learn from resident scholars, museum curators, collectors and artists themselves. Such greats as Renoir, Matisse, Picasso, Cocteau, Signac, Chagall, Leger and others left their indelible mark on the local landscape and imprinted an artistic legacy that today's Ecole de Nice artists carry on proudly.
Two specially designed excursions--one to Paris and one to Provence--complement the lessons learned in Nice and its environs, broadening students knowledge and understanding of French art, history and culture. Here is the perfect environment in which to become immersed in French heritage. | |
