Description:
| In May 2001, Molloy College began a partnership with Australian Catholic University (ACU) to provide Long Island students with the opportunity to spend a semester or year studying in Australia. Founded in 1991 ACU has more than 10,000 students--including international students from 35 countries-- studying at seven campuses down the east coast of Australia. Students have the option of studying at either the McAuley or St. Patrick's campuses of the University. The McAuley Campus is about four miles from the center of Brisbane, Australia's sunshine capital, with the world famous Barrier Reef to the north and the surfing beaches of the Gold Coast nearby to the south. The St. Patrick's Campus is located in the city of Melbourne, a busy financial center renowned for its beautiful parks and gardens and its rich cultural heritage. Students who study at either of these campuses have a wide variety of liberal arts, social science, and business courses to choose from. Business majors also have the opportunity to participate in a three credit internship while they are in Australia. | |
