Description:
| Beginning in the Spring of 2002, business majors at Long Island colleges and universities will be able to participate in a new International Business Program in Australia offered through Australian Catholic University.
Students will have the option of studying at either the Melbourne or Brisbane campuses of the University and can choose from a wide variety of courses offered in Accounting, Management, Marketing and Economics. Liberal arts courses are also available in such areas as Australian Studies, Asian Studies, English, History, Philosophy and Theology, Psychology and Foreign Languages. The program also includes a 3 credit business internship that is taken as part of the student's normal course load. The International Business Program offered by Australian Catholic University provides students with the skills they need to think in the business context of another trading nation and to learn new techniques by actually working with people in a wider range of business cultures. The Internship will provide students with a world class business experience. Students will be placed in internships with an Australian business based upon their prior work experience, abilities and interests. Each student who participates in the program will receive a pre-departure orientation at Molloy College and on-site orientation organized by ACU. | |
