Description:
| DCU offers a variety of courses, mostly in business, finance, accounting and related fields. Also available are several science and arts courses in vocational areas such as Journalism, Film & TV Studies and Electronic Engineering. DCU prepares its students for employment in today's marketplace. The university has a large library and a modern sports complex, where 36 active sports clubs meet weekly. Services for students include: counseling, career advice, health service, chaplaincy, childcare, social center, accommodations office, university shop, bank, restaurant, personal tutor system and bookstore. If your needs are not met by these services, they certainly will be by the Student Union. The Union offers membership to over 40 societies including some that deal specifically with Irish politics and culture. The Union also arranges social events on campus. | |
