| The program is situated at the heart of the university precinct, close to the centre of the ancient city of Oxford. It is aimed at high school graduates and second semester entry college freshmen who want to spend one, two or three terms abroad, expanding their horizons and undertaking college-level work. Students choose two or three subjects from an exciting range of options, and are taught in a combination of small seminar groups and individual tutorials by a team of highly qualified tutors. Besides a range of academic courses, the program offers internships, accommodation in central Oxford and extensive extra-curricular activities, including sport and regular visits to places of cultural and historic interest. Membership of the Oxford Union, which has played host to leading figures from the worlds of international politics and the arts since 1823, is granted to all students on the program.
