Description:
| This program offers an unparalleled opportunity to explore the physical and biological nature of selected Australian landscapes. The program includes extensive field excursions—from Kakadu National Park in Australia’s ‘top end’; to Uluru (Ayer’s Rock) in Central Australia; and to Cairns, on the Great Barrier Reef.
The University of New South Wales, in partnership with one of Australia’s leading conservation management agencies, the New South Wales National Parks and Wildlife Service, presents a practical introduction to ‘Australian Wildlife and Conservation’.
This course is an introductory level science course. It assumes no, or very little previous tertiary level biological science. Students participating in this program are also required to choose one of the elective subjects offered. | |
