Description:
| AFS-Switzerland organizes four weeks of language training prior to the start of school for students with less than two years of German, and several hours of weekly tutoring is available in German or French during the year if needed. School runs from August through June or July, and classes meet five days a week in most schools. You will focus on a broad range of academic subjects while establishing close relationships with your fellow students.
Outside of school, you'll participate in activities with your host family as well as join clubs or get involved in community activities such as village festivals, gymnastic meets, or historic celebrations. And, of course, you'll want to make time for hiking and skiing in the Alps!
