Description:
| Students participating on the semester or year long exchange program will take four or five courses per semester. Classes meet three times per week and professors usually require about five hours of homework per week. Semester grades are generally determined by monthly exams, final paper, homework, and a final exam. The semester program is currently only available to Pitt students in the School of Engineering and the College of Business Administration. For Engineering, students may take the regular course offerings in Spanish. A list of courses and descriptions can be found online at: http://www.sistema.itesm.mx/va/Planes2000/Consulta00.html
For Business, students may take the regular course offerings in Spanish or choose from a number of business courses offered specifically for international students either in Spanish or English. A list of courses and descriptions can be found online at : http://www.sistema.itesm.mx/va/progint/indpieet.html.
The Summer program is an intensive Spanish langauge and culture course for students of all levels of Spanish language ability. All credits earned at Tech are transferable to Pitt as long as a grade of 'C' or better is earned. Requirements are pre-approved before participation on the program. | |
