Description: Students are teamed with foreign students to do business consulting for actual foreign business firms. The concept for the program originated with our MBA program and was first applied to our undergraduate program in 1996. Since then, nearly 300 College of Business undergraduate students have taken advantage of this unique opportunity. Students will earn 12 hours of undergraduate credit during first summer session in 2002 and it meets their Global Perspective Requirement! Program offers an intense experience beginning on campus at the conclusion of spring quarter 2002 and ending on site in China, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy or Spain. The only academic work remaining once students leave their respective consulting sites is a reflection paper due early Fall Quarter 2002. Students are urged to travel around Europe or Asia following competition of their consulting assignments. This program is desgned for students currently in their sophomore, junior or senior years of study who have participated in at least one cluster experience.
