Description:
| The European Languages, Cultures & Humanities Program at the International Management Institute (IMI) in Brussels, Belgium, is designed for undergraduates, graduates and professionals interested in intensive French, German and/or Dutch language training. Courses in liberal arts, psychology, communications, business, computing, international relations, sociology, history and culture are also available. Coursework is supplemented with professional visits and internships at humanitarian organizations, local businesses and governing bodies. The program includes sightseeing and cultural excursions in Brussels, Antwerp, Bruges, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and London. All courses and field trips are conducted in English. Depending on course-load and internship involvement, students can earn up to 18 credit units towards their undergraduate or graduate degree.
[IMI/BRUSSELS] IMI is recognized as a leading business, diplomacy and language school in Belgium, Brussels. Brussels is the economic and political capital of Europe, with the European Commission, European Parliament, European Investment Bank and NATO located in close proximity to IMI. Belgium also has 3 official languages - French, German and Dutch, making it the perfect location to study European society, global communication, business culture and languages.
[EXCURSIONS] Each term the program includes sightseeing and cultural excursions in Brussels, Antwerp, Bruges, Paris, Berlin, London and Amsterdam. Additional trips to Prague and Geneva are organized during most terms.
[LIVING] Students live in fully furnished apartments, located in the central district of Brussels. Student activities include sports, academic clubs and social events with Belgium and international students.
Tuition for Summer term - $5,870; Fall term - $8,850; Spring term - $8,850; Academic Year - $17,360. Tuition includes all academic fees, textbooks, accommodations, on-site support, medical and travel insurance, and excursions in Europe. All forms of federal, state and local financial aid and scholarship awards can be applied towards the program tuition. | |
