| Florence, Italy will be the study site for SBCC's Spring 2002 study abroad program which includes world literature, art appreciation, history of western civilization and Italian language. As the heart of the Renaissance, Florence is known for art and architectural treasures and a wealth of history. Florence is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Students will be able to experience the culture through study, in-struction and observation in this unique envi-ronment. Many field trips and excursions are planned to other cities and regions in Italy as well. Making new friends, living with history, seeing magnificent surroundings, trying new foods and customs, will contribute to a rich and memorable experience.
