Description:
| Features 6 credits of coursework in French language and culture as well as 9 to 12 credits of international business taught in English. French language and culture courses, offered at the beginning, intermediate and advanced levels, help students build their skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Business courses will include: Institutions and Economics (international political issues and European economics); Management and Marketing (basic principles of marketing); International Management (human resources and accounting); International Finance (finance, international law, and monetary construction); Information Systems (basic course in IS). Students in the English/French program who remain for the academic year will take courses taught in French during the spring semester. In addition students who take the five-month option may complete a credit-bearing independent study project for 2 credits or an internship/ community service project for 3 credits. (There is an additional fee for arranging and supervising internships and service placements.)
Business courses taught in English, and French language and culture courses for students with beginning or intermediate skills at the University of Montpellier (É). Students with fluency in French may enroll in business or liberal arts courses taught in French. Host family housing, excursions, on-site support, internships/community service opportunities. Summer language program also available. | |
