| The goals of the program are to develop a higher level of Portuguese language fluency for participants and their critical appreciation of Brazilian life and society. This is achieved through the academic program and cultural immersion activities including the homestay and cultural activities. The program is held in Salvador da Bahia, an important center of Afro-Brazilian culture. |
