Description:
| During each session, participants will experience and learn in a variety of Irish locations. As Ireland is a small country, the program will take full advantage and travel throughout the land showing students large metropolitan areas, small country towns and everything in between. You can learn more about the Emerald Isle here (link to CIS Ireland page). The following are the scheduled locales of each session.
Summer session I: Dublin, Drogheda, Tara, Ballyvaughn, Galway and Dingle.
Summer session II: Dublin, Drogheda, Carlingford, Cashel, Ballyvaughn, Galway and Limerick.
Summer session III: Dublin, Belfast, Sligo, Falway, Ballyvaughn, and Limerick.
Internships
A limited number of Supervised Professional Internships (3 - 4 credit hours) related to students' major fields are available during this summer program. These internships will be available in the arts and humanities, cinema studies and film production, education, history, human services, psychology, and several other disciplines. Each internship is individually tailored to take full advantage of the students' competencies and skills. In the past students have found these practica extremely instructive and personally rewarding. | |
