Description:
| Miami University Dolibois European Center: Miami of Ohio is one of the few public universities with its own campus abroad. Our program has completed its third decade with an excellent reputation. We are located in the heart of Europe in a 15th century castle with up-to-date internet access in Luxembourg's third largest city, an ideal location for international travel. The castle and elegant park grounds include classrooms, faculty offices, a spacious student lounge, kitchen, and laundry, and the train station is only 5 minutes away. Courses are from the general curriculum, so you can apply almost all of them toward your requirements for graduation. You'll be taught by distinguished international faculty, including both European and U.S. based scholars. Former ambassadors and business leaders regularly teach our courses and Miami faculty with European expertise teach several courses each semester. Because the program enrolls 120-135 students per semester, you develop close ties with each other, whether you are from Miami or another university. Your costs are reasonable since you pay Miami's public-school tuition and fees. You are immersed in the culture, living as a European with a local host family. The core course includes a faculty-guided field tour for one week. Professors and staff are there to give guidance in both your studies and travels. | |
