Description:
| In association with University College, Oxford University, ASE offers single semester and full year programmes to high calibre US undergraduates. British faculty, many from Oxford University, offer courses in a broad range of Humanities subjects; all teaching takes place in small seminar groups and Oxford-style tutorials. Many of our courses include outstanding study trips, some of which are residential.
Our study centre is situated in the heart of the beautiful, eighteenth-century city of Bath, 90 minutes west of London. Students are housed in historic properties throughout the city centre, all within walking distance of the Roman Baths, the Abbey, galleries, museums, and an array of restaurants and pubs.
ASE offers a full social programme which includes residentials in Oxford and Stratford and a weekend in a remote, beautiful part of the English countryside. ASE students have union membership at Bath University and enjoy access to clubs and societies; students are helped to develop links with the local community through internships, school placements for those students in the Education Programme, and volunteer work. Our fee is all-inclusive, covering housing, meals, and all costs in the planned programme.
