| SUNY Oswego/Binghamton at La Sorbonne in Paris: Students follow a curriculum at the Sorbonne (Cours de Civilisation Française) on the basis of their preparation in French, their interests, and the results of evaluation tests that are given ten days after their arrival in Paris. All classes are taught in French, yet are intended specifically for non-natives. They include French language, French literature, business French, history, economics, political science, art and architecture, and French cinema. The courses are designed to meet the specific needs of American college students who wish to follow a course of study in French culture and civilization. Students enroll for a minimum of 12-15 credit hours per semester.
Housing is arranged in one of several excellent and well-maintained residences located in some of Paris' most famous neighborhoods, like Montparnasse. | |
