Description:
| Nestled along the banks of the Waikato River, Hamilton, New Zealand’s fourth largest city, is home to the University of Waikato. Hamilton is a lively, bustling city, but it is nonetheless a haven for sports and recreation fans. The Waikato region is steeped in Maori culture – there is even a marae (Maori meeting place) on campus. Surrounding attractions include thermal pools, limestone caves, ancient forests, and excellent beaches.
CCIS students may take a variety of Maori language and culture classes.
The application deadline for Semester 1 (Feb-June) and the NZ academic year (Feb-Nov) is November 1. The application deadline for Semester 2 (July-Nov) is April 1.
