Description:
| Kingston University (KU) is housed on four separate campuses close to the center of the Royal Borough of Kingston in Greater London. All campuses are within easy reach of one another and are connected by a free bus service. The main campus on Penrhyn Road is a 20 minute train ride from the center of London. The town is a mixture of old and new with a daily open air market as well as chain stores, supermarkets, a shopping mall, night clubs, discos, and multi-screen cinemas. London, Kew Gardens, Wimbledon, Richmond Park, and Windsor are all easily accessed by public transportation.
All students take the British Culture and Society course which is designed to provide an understanding and appreciation of contemporary culture and society through lectures, seminars, excursions, and tours led by Kingston University faculty. In addition to the required course, students pick electives from five of the faculties at the university.
The application deadline for the Fall Semester (mid-Sept to mid Dec) is June 1. The application deadline for the Spring Semester (end of Jan to early June) is November 15.
