Now, through the World Capitals Program of American University (AU), you can gain a full semester of college credit in this international center of commerce and culture, while experiencing its many celebrated attractions. The semester in Paris program gives you the chance to gain international work experience, discuss global issues with Europe's experts, and improve your French.
Imagine enhancing your French-language skills this spring through a unique program at La Sorbonne University, the institution that's synonymous with the sophistication, elegance, and the history of Paris. Through American University's Semester in Paris: French Language Immersion Program you can complete the Sorbonne's course of French Language and Civilization-Cours de la Civilisation Française for international students-and earn a semester of American University credit. Your skills in speaking, reading, and writing French will vastly increase during the semester, as you study at the élémentaire, moyen, or supérieur level, depending on your knowledge of the language. The following courses are offered in the program: Paris Civilization and Culture (4 credit hours - required); Niveau élémentaire introductory level: 9 credit hours); Niveau Moyen (intermediate level: 9 credit hours); Niveau Supérieur (advanced level: 9 credit hours); Conférence Courses (2 credit hours); Internship (4 credit hours). | |
