Description:
| This intensive Spanish language program for intermediate and advanced students takes place at the Cemanahuac Community in the city of Cuernavaca. Cuernavaca, the land of eternal Spring, is a colonial city located about 50 miles south of Mexico City, at an altitude of 5,280 feet above sea level. Students will have the opportunity to live and eat with a Mexican family and totally immerse themselves in the culture. All homes are within easy walking or public transportation distance of the school facility.
All the Spanish language classes will be held in the morning for four or five hours. Each class consists of no more than 5 students. All Cemanahuac language teachers are native speakers, and all have extensive training in teaching Spanish as a second language. The weekends are set aside for field study trips to places of historic and cultural interest.
