Description:
| Students will take courses at the Université de Neuchâtel which is recognized throughout Europe for the excellence of its language programs. Because it is small, it offers considerable personal attention to its students. Neuchâtel, population 40,000, is a small provincial city located in French speaking Switzerland on the shore of one of the most beautiful Swiss lakes, with the Alps in the foreground and the Jura mountains behind. Most recreational facilities are available, in particular, water sports in the Summer. Students may earn up to nine hours of University of Utah credit in French. Advanced courses may be applied towards major or minor requirements. Courses may be taken for a grade, credit/no credit, or audit. Specific credit is arranged with the program director before departure. | |
