Description:
| Improve your command of the French language as you delve into Senegalese life and culture for the academic year.
You will attend classes alongside Senegalese students at the Universite' Gaston Berger and learn about your surroundings firsthand through a fieldwork project. The Saint Louis program offers students a unique opportunity to conduct research. In addition, you will study the most widely spoken Senegalese language, Wolof.
Attend classes in any of the following faculties: Letters and Humanities; Law and Political Science; Economics and Business; Law and Computer Science. In addition to university classes, your academic program will include Wolof language instruction and a fieldwork project.
Required pre-departure orientation sessions held at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in September include introductory Wolof language instruction and advising for your fieldwork project. | |
