Description:
| The Arts Faculty Summer School in Irish Studies of the University College Cork offers this four week program. Students may earn a maximum of six credits: 3 in literature and 3 in history. Included are morning lectures, afternoon seminars, field trips and cultural events.
Optional classes are also available in the Irish language as in instruction on the Irish musical instrument, the penny whistle.
The school is appropriate for students of history and literature, post-graduates, teachers and those who are simply interested in Irish culture.
