PlanetEdu's patent-pending Pay-Per-Display system provides a new marketing platform unmatched by anyone in the education industry. Once you have a PlanetEdu account and one or more listings you'll then have the option to enhance your listings with PlanetEdu's Pay-Per-Display advertisements. This option enables you to add your listings to the PlanetEdu database and position them in the search rankings according to your marketing and budgetary needs. Unlike most online advertising programs that charge a CPM rate (Cost Per Thousand Impressions) or a fixed rate, PlanetEdu only charges its advertisers on a Pay-Per-Display basis. What this means to you, the advertiser, is that you are only charged when your advertisements are displayed from a user clicking on a Sponsored Search Result and/or banner or button. This new education directory breakthrough alleviates the burden of paying for unwanted impressions or expensive fixed fees. With PlanetEdu, you only Pay For Results, thus delivering more value for your advertising dollars.

Sponsored Search Results

As a client of PlanetEdu you'll have the option to bid on keywords for your program listings and have them appear in PlanetEdu's Sponsored Search Results. Sponsored Search Results are positioned above other listings on search result pages. PlanetEdu's search results are delivered according to a user's keyword search. Position your Sponsored Search Result bids according to your marketing and budgetary needs.

Banner and Button Ads

This new system works very similar for banner and button ads. The only difference is that you are marketing your overall brand rather or special promotion rather than an individual education program. Banner and button ads point to a promotional page created by you.

One banner is displayed at the top of each search result page, as well as the 10 category pages. Buttons are served in groups of three on the search result pages, as well as the 10 category pages.

Banner and button ads are created and submitted by you. The process is quite simple. First submit your banner and button image to PlanetEdu for approval. Once your banner and/or button images have been approved you will then be able to bid on keywords to have them appear on search result pages or on category pages. Place your Banner and Button Ad bids according to your marketing and budgetary needs.
